Google+ Profile as an Educational Resource

Approximately midway through the 2014-15 school year my district rolled out Google APPS for Education (GAFE) along with Google+ features. Generally when it comes to the integration of technology I think outside the box. Immediately I thought of different ways to incorporate these Ed Tech Tools to support my students.

I saw Google+ as a way to share websites and self created interactives to support the Middle School Students in my district. When doing this it’s important to consider the CIPA (Children’s Internet Protection Act) and decide if it would be wise to have students under the age of 13 comment on posts. Google+ lets the user have control of eliminating comments. This presents a virtual format where one could provide support to students outside of the school day. I look at using the Google + Profile as another web platform for making a school to home connection. Here is the link to my Google+ Profile:

Please comment below, let me know what you think or share an idea! After all educational technology is about collaborating and learning from one another.
