This is one of those lesser known tricks and perhaps not often used. It can be used to help the student who has a hard time getting started with their work. Sometimes when a Google Slide Deck is shared with a group of students they get distracted as they try to find the slide assigned to them. This is when I’d share the direct URL for the slide assigned to the student. The benefit is the student can start editing the slide right away instead of scrolling through the group of slides in the slide deck. In some cases this could be a timesaver.
