Thanks to my position as a Teaching Assistant I’m always looking for easier and more efficient ways for integrating GAfE (Google APPS for Education) No one likes wasting time and Google is an education platform which builds in a lot of timesaving tips for both the teachers and students. Here are a few choices one can use to create a more efficient Google Drive structure for accessing ones files and folders.
Tips for Organizing
COLOR FOLDERS
- Click Folder to Highlight
- Followed by Clicking the More Actions Symbol
- Scroll Down to Change Color
- Select a Color
CHOOSE GRID VIEW or LIST VIEW
- Choose between
- Click Grid View
- Grid View Looks like this:
- Click List View
- List View Looks like this:
CUSTOM SORT TIP
- Custom Sort using AZ Sort Name
- Checkmark Name
- Add Numbers in front of folder or file names
- Example: (01), (02) and etc…
STAR a FOLDER
- Star a Folder or File you use often
- isolates folder
