In my prior post I mention about students embedding a Sphero math activity video into a Google Slide to write a reflection piece. This post is going to focus on inserting a video into a Google Slide. I’m also going to demonstrate how to set a start and end time for the embedded video. This will allow the students to focus upon a single step within the video for the reflective writing. Remember to provide key rules such as using math vocabulary for the writing. Projects such as this are meant to help evaluate students knowledge of content, and strengthen collaboration skills along with just having some creative techno fun!
Embed Drive Video Into a Slide
NOTE: I like storing and embedding videos from Google Drive. The reason for this is it provides the school district and the file owner with more control of who may view the videos. This is especially important when working with students under 13 years of age.
